A Day to Remember

In May 2020, almost two months into the Covid Lockdown, I received an email from an estate agent suggesting I might be interested in a farm that was about to come back on the market. It did indeed look interesting, and so I thought it would be fun to relieve the lockdown boredom and go on a legitimate 'day trip' to look at this old farmyard in Somerset.

At the beginning of the year we'd resigned ourselves to the fact that we now needed put our plans to head West on hold for another couple of years, so we were a bit unsure if this temptation was a good idea to follow, but we went anyway. Little did we know it would be just what we'd been looking for.

"Hils, I think this is it"  Andrew said ... and so that was where it all began.

Who on earth would be this stupid?

We'd talked for years about doing a project, and dreamed of moving west too. It might not have felt like quite the right time, but when is it ever?
